Dear Grand Gedeh Elders:

Since the last elections of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas, there has been what we commonly call a division in the Association.  The Election Commission that conducted the Elections announced Ms. Martha Kanneh as winner and she was therefore inaugurated as president of the Association.  On the other hand, Mr. Henry Glay contends that he is still president of the Association since a group of Grand Gedeans from Rochester/Syracuse, New York State sued the Association for denying them the "right" to vote.  In keeping with the Glay position, the elections results were therefore called into question by the law-suit and as such, he is still president while the case is still pending.
 
With the above, many Grand Gedeans have been calling on "the Elders" to intervene in our traditional way of handling matters of our people.  And given the volume of calls and the greatness of the concern raised by the callers, the Elders need to meet, discuss and have a consensus on the matter.  It is in this respect that I, the undersigned, has volunteered to host an Elders' meeting at
