Congratulations To Our Soccer Team!

On behalf of the National executive committee and members of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas, Inc, I wish to extend to the officers and members of the Pennsylvania chapter our sincere appreciation and thanks to the courageous soccer players of the Grand Gedeh Association of Pennsylvania, on the recent championship against Lofa Association Chapter in Pennsylvania during the county‘s league in Philadelphia. The fabulous final match between Grand Gedeh and Lofa County ended with Lofa going down one goal to zero. Our congratulation to the players and team’s officials for the good sportsmanship exhibited during the entire league.  

The national administration and the great people of our beloved county are very much proud for the job well done. We are convinced that President Glay’s message “where ever a Grand Gedean(s) or groups of Grand Gedean are, should be made strive to touch the moon, if misses the moon to fall among the stars”. 

The Pennsylvania Chapter recent victory demonstrated that president Glay’s quotes are becoming forth. We also thank the Lofa team and all the participating county’s teams for the job well done, good sportsmanship on the soccer field and beyond the field play a crucial role in our quest for national peace and unity in our Liberian community. We challenge all the youth to continue to strive for the best; be it on the soccer field, school’s campuses, at work or at home, with this determination you will succeed in your undertaken.   

In view of the above development, “there was no doubt in mind that you are our precious jewels” said the late president Dr. William Richard Tolbert, Jr.   Again thanks to President Garlo and the team for making our county proud. This latest victory by the Philadelphia based Grand Gedeh Soccer Squad marks the fourth consecutive history of championship.
