We have observed the enthusiasm amongst Grand Gedeans, with much optimism and due to the various requests by others who expressed their intention to become legal and bone-fide members as enshrined in the By Laws and constitution of the Grand Gedeh Association,, the April 30,2009, deadline is hereby extended to May 15, 2009.
We are confident; this extension will enable Grand Gedeans, especially those who have yet to register to be a part of our electoral process. We will proceed with the election consistent with Article III section V of our constitution which states: A Bona fide member of the Association shall be a member of the Association as defined in sections 1&2 (Article III section V,) and who holds a valid membership card of the Association.
Therefore, the administration deems it imperative and prudence to extend the registration process to May 15, 2009, for the submission of names of membership to the National Treasurer, which should be accompanied by the required fee of $5.00 per member. Grand Gedeans who reside in areas where there are no local chapters, please mail your payment of $15.00 to the National Treasurer. Mrs. Edith Mahn Kar

Let it be unequivocally cleared for anyone to become a bone-fide member of the association, he or she must be a valid ID card holder in the name of the association. This provision of the constitution will not be violated, circumvented or be held in abeyance.
